Key Responsibilities
- 1. Client Engagement and Requirement Gathering:
- • Collaborate with prospective clients to identify their cybersecurity challenges, business goals, and technical needs.
- • Conduct in-depth assessments of client environments to recommend appropriate Fortinet solutions.
- • Build strong relationships with key technical and business stakeholders.
- 2. Solution Design and Architecture:
- • Design scalable, secure, and efficient network security architectures leveraging Fortinet technologies.
- • Develop detailed technical proposals and solution blueprints tailored to client requirements.
- • Advise on best practices for integrating Fortinet solutions within existing infrastructures.
- 3. Technical Presentations and Demonstrations:
- • Deliver compelling presentations and live demonstrations of Fortinet’s products and solutions, emphasizing their value.
- • Address technical inquiries and objections, ensuring clarity and confidence in proposed solutions.
- 4. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
- • Partner with the sales team to support deal closure by providing technical insights and strategies.
- • Share market insights and client feedback with product teams to drive continuous improvement.
- 5. Technical Expertise Development:
- • Stay updated on Fortinet’s product portfolio, new releases, and industry cybersecurity trends.
- • Obtain and maintain relevant Fortinet certifications (e.g., NSE 4, NSE 5, or higher).
- • Provide training and enablement to partners and clients on Fortinet technologies
Skills and Qualifications
- 1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 2. Strong understanding of Fortinet’s product ecosystem, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiWeb.
- 3. Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
- 4. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- 5. Hands-on experience with configuring and managing network security appliances is a plus
- 6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- 8. 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or cybersecurity role.
